LIONS ENGLISH SCHOOL SPEAKFEST 2026 тАФ WHERE YOUNG VOICES INSPIRED!

Silvassa: With the aim of nurturing confidence, creativity and effective communication among young learners, Lions English School hosted its annual interschool English competition, SpeakFest 2026. The event brought together talented young participants from schools across Silvassa and neighbouring areas, providing them with a vibrant platform to express their thoughts, showcase their oratory skills and engage in healthy competition.

The event was graced by the presence of Chief Guest HonтАЩble Chairman Shri Fatehsinhji M Chauhan, Guest of Honour Respected Vice Chairman Shri Anantraoji D Nikam, Treasurer Shri Vishvesh Dave, judges Shri H. P Solanki, Retd. District Education Officer and Dr Ramchandra Joshi, Assistant Professor of English at APJ Abdul Kalam Government College Silvassa, Principals and Vice Principals of our school and college, teachers, escort teachers and enthusiastic students, whose presence contributed to the success and spirit of the occasion.

The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by the School Anthem. The dignitaries were then warmly welcomed with books by renowned authors, reflecting the spirit of learning and literature that lies at the heart of SpeakFest.

Principal Mrs Nirali Parekh delivered the welcome address, extending a warm welcome to the dignitaries, judges, teachers, escort teachers and participating students. The competitions then commenced with Recitation, Elocution, Declamation and Debate. The participants displayed remarkable confidence, expression and command over the English language, making the competition highly engaging and spirited.

Both the esteemed judges appreciated the high standard of competition and observed that the participants had performed exceptionally well. They also shared valuable tips and suggestions with the students, guiding them on how to improve their delivery, confidence and overall presentation skills.
In his address, the respected Vice Chairman sir appreciated the students for their confident and impressive performances. He congratulated the participants and encouraged them to continue developing their communication and oratory skills.
The HonтАЩble Chairman sir addressed the gathering and appreciated the efforts of the students and the spirit of participation displayed throughout the competition. His words of encouragement motivated the young participants and added to the significance of the occasion.

Lionite Sargam 2026: A Symphony of Talent, Passion & Melody

Silvassa: Lions English School, Silvassa, successfully hosted the 5th Interschool Singing Competition тАУ Lionites Sargam 2026 on 6th August 2026, bringing together talented young singers from schools across Silvassa and nearby areas.

The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and school anthem, followed by the welcome address by Principal Mrs. Nirali Parekh. The event was graced by Chief Guest HonтАЩble Chairman Shri Fatehsinhji M. Chauhan and Guest of Honour Respected Vice Chairman Shri Anantraoji D. Nikam, along with other dignitaries and school leaders.

The competition featured four categories and was judged by eminent music experts Shri Rahul Pandya and Ms. Sapna Rameshkumar Viswakarma. The participants delivered impressive performances, celebrating the richness and diversity of Indian music.

Lionet Mindspace IT Talent Show 2.0: A Signature Innovation Initiative of Lions English School

Silvassa: With the vision of nurturing technological skills, creativity and innovation among young learners, Lions English School, Silvassa, successfully organised Lionet Mindspace IT Talent Show 2.0 on 30th June 2026.The prestigious inter-school event witnessed enthusiastic participation from nine schools, providing students with an outstanding platform to showcase their talent in Information Technology, Robotics, Coding and Smart Automation.

The programme commenced with the auspicious lighting of the ceremonial lamp. The event was organised under the guidance of HonтАЩble Chairman of Lions Club of Silvassa Charitable Trust Shri Fatehsinhji M. Chauhan, the chief guest for the occasion. The programme was attended by Respected Vice Chairman Shri Anantraoji D. Nikam, Respected Secretary Shri Kuldip Singh Moondra, Principal of Smt. Devkiba Mohansinhji Chauhan College of Commerce and Science Dr. Seema Pillai, Vice Principal Dr. Jhanvi Arekar, Principal of Lions English School Mrs. Nirali Parekh, Vice Principals Mrs. Parul Gupta and Mrs. Mamta Nagarkoti, along with faculty members of the school.
The dignitaries were accorded a warm welcome, after which Principal Mrs. Nirali Parekh delivered the welcome address, highlighting the importance of fostering innovation, problem-solving abilities and technological excellence among students.
The competitions were conducted in two categories. Group I (Std. VIтАУVIII) featured Robotics, Code Create & Conquer, Blixathon and Eco Art using E-Waste, while Group II (Std. IXтАУXII) included IoT/Smart Automation, Robo Rescue Arena and Live Hackathon.

The competitions were judged by Mr. Sanjay R. Mate and Mr. Yogeshwar I. Rokade from Dr. Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Government Polytechnic, Karad, whose impartial evaluation ensured the smooth, transparent and fair conduct of all events.

Students displayed remarkable creativity, logical thinking, technical expertise, innovation and teamwork throughout the competition. At the conclusion of the events, the winners were felicitated with trophies and certificates, while the judges were honoured with mementoes and letters of appreciation for their valuable contribution.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks proposed by Mrs. Rakhi Parmar, Head of the Computer Department. The event culminated with the National Anthem, marking the successful conclusion of yet another memorable inter-school competition.

Lionites Sargam 2025 тАУ A Melodious Celebration of Talent

Music has the unique power to bridge hearts, stir emotions and create harmony тАУ and this essence came alive at Lionites Sargam 2025, the 4th Interschool Singing Competition hosted by Lions English School, Silvassa, on 28th July 2025. The event brought together young singers from different schools to celebrate Indian music in different styles.

The programme began with the auspicious lighting of the lamp, followed by a warm welcome extended to the dignitaries. This was followed by a welcome address delivered by the Principal Mrs. Nirali Parekh. The occasion was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest HonтАЩble Chairman Shri Fatehsinhji M. Chauhan and the Guest of Honour HonтАЩble Vice-chairman Shri Anantraoji D. Nikam. Also present were Treasurer Shri Vishvesh Dave, Principal of Haveli Institute of Legal Studies and Research Dr. Shilpa Tiwari, Principal of the school Mrs. Nirali Parekh, Vice-principal Mrs. Parul Gupta, mentor teachers, participants from various schools, and other distinguished guests.

The event was judged by two esteemed experts in the field of music тАФ Shri Rahul Pandya and Shri Naran Tandel тАФ who brought their rich experience and musical talent to evaluate the performances. Participants from 9 schools across Silvassa and nearby areas took part enthusiastically, guided by their mentor teachers. Teachers of Lions English School also played a significant role in coordinating and supporting the event. In between the performances, refreshments were served, creating a cheerful and relaxed atmosphere. While results were being finalized, Dr. Shilpa Tiwari, Shri Vishvesh Dave, Mrs. Renu Sharma (Head of Music Department), Mr. Ashish Rajani (English Department), along with a few mentor teachers, lightened the mood with impromptu singing performances.

One of the judges, Shri Rahul Pandya, addressed the gathering with words of encouragement. He appreciated the participantsтАЩ performances and shared some helpful tips with the mentor teachers to further improve their studentsтАЩ musical abilities. As a mark of appreciation, tokens of love were presented to both the judges.

HonтАЩble Chairman Sir also addressed the audience. He extended warm wishes for the month of Shravan, offered salutations to Lord Shiva and Goddess Saraswati, and congratulated the participants and mentor teachers. He emphasized that the main purpose of organizing such competitions is to help students develop their talents along with their education. He also acknowledged the judges and beautifully concluded by stating that music is a powerful medium through which emotions and feelings are best conveyed.
Mrs. Renu Sharma then extended a warm vote of thanks, appreciating the contributions of all who made the event a grand success. Finally, the much-awaited prize distribution took place:

Peace Poster Making Competition

Lions Club of Silvassa conducted Interschool Peace poster making competition in our school today .
