Silvassa: Lions English School proudly organised a Felicitation Ceremony on 17th April 2026 in the gracious presence of Honโble Chairman Shri Fatehsinhji M. Chauhan, Vice Chairman Shri Anantraoji D. Nikam, Secretary Shri Kuldip Singhji Moondra, Treasurer Shri Vishvesh Dave, Joint Treasurer Shri Hirabhai Patel, Principal Mrs Nirali Parekh, Vice Principals Mrs Parul Gupta and Mrs Mamta Nagarkoti, along with proud parents.
Out of 450 students who appeared for the CBSE Std. X Board Examination, the school achieved an outstanding result of 98.6%.

Vikshit Bharat Buildathon 2025 provided a national platform for innovation, and our students enthusiastically took part in this prestigious initiative. The event was organised by the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, in collaboration with Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Our students of std. VI to VIII participated at the national level and submitted innovative prototypes addressing real-world community challenges. They were awarded participation certificates for their commendable efforts.

Proud Moment for Lions English School at National-Level Science Exhibition
Lions English School continues to excel at the National Level by showcasing the scientific talent and innovation of its students, as Master Saurabh Vishwakarma of Class XII B represented the school at the prestigious 52nd Rashtriya Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani, organised by the Department of Education in Science and Mathematics, NCERT along with the Department of School Education, Madhya Pradesh. The event was held at Regional Institute of Education, Shyamla Hills, Bhopal from 18th to 23rd November 2025.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Honโble Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav along with Honโble Ministers Sh. Uday Pratap Singh and Kunwar Vijay Shah, Government of Madhya Pradesh; Prof. Dinesh Prasad Saklani, Honโble Director, NCERT; senior officials from the Department of School Education (MP), and faculty members of NCERT (DESM-NIE, RIE-Bhopal, and PSSCIVE-Bhopal).
The national-level exhibition featured over 300 innovative science projects from students across various States and Union Territories. Master Saurabh exhibited a static model titled Carbon Capture and Utilisation Unit โ A Step Towards a Greener Tomorrow, which focused on capturing atmospheric carbon dioxide (COโ) and converting it into usable chemical products, thereby addressing environmental protection and sustainability.
In addition to the scientific showcase, the programme also focused on diverse cultural events, celebrating Indiaโs unity in diversity. Participants also had the privilege to attend inspiring talks and interactive sessions by eminent personalities, enriching their scientific knowledge and broadening their perspectives. As part of the event experience, the participants were also taken to various historic and culturally significant sites in Bhopal.
Master Saurabh was guided by Mrs Chithra Praveen and escorted by Mr Dipak More. For their noteworthy participation, they received a certificate, medal and memento.

NCC All India Trekking Expedition Camp, NCC Girl Cadets Shine at CATCโ213 Camp

Lions English School celebrated NCC Day on 22nd November 2025 with enthusiasm. The NCC students conducted the morning assembly with a thought, GK questions and a speech highlighting the formation, aims and achievements of the National Cadet Corps. A Poster Making competition was organised and students displayed themes related to NCC and patriotism. A Tree Plantation drive was also carried out to promote environmental awareness.
The celebration truly reflected the spirit of NCC.
NCC All India Trekking Expedition Camp
Eleven NCC cadets from Lions English School proudly participated in the All India Trekking Expedition Camp held at Belgaum from 15th to 22nd November 2025 under the Kar & Goa region. The camp offered students a valuable opportunity to experience adventure, trekking, discipline and teamwork.
Throughout the camp, our cadets took part in various training sessions and trekking routes that tested their endurance and leadership skills. A moment of great pride was when the Gujarat Directorate received the Best Discipline Award, and our students were also awarded medals for their excellent conduct and discipline.
The camp proved to be a wonderful learning experience, inspiring the cadets to uphold the true spirit of NCCโUnity and Disciplineโand bringing honour to the school.

In an effort to promote discipline, confidence and leadership qualities among students, eleven girl cadets from Lions English School enthusiastically participated in the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATCโ213) held from 07th October to 16th October 2025 at Jeetnagar, Rajpipla. The camp included drill practice, firing training, physical fitness activities and various life-skills sessions. World Robotic Olympiad 2025, Veer Gatha 4.0

The World Robotic Olympiad 2025, conducted by WRO in collaboration with the India STEM Foundation and organized by the Ministry of Culture and the National Council of Science Museums, saw remarkable participation from our students. Master Pavan Singh of std. VIII C and Master Ved Sandhanvise std. VIII B represented the school at the regional level in Ahmedabad. Among nearly 20,000 participants nationwide, they secured an impressive 190th rank, and at the regional level, achieved the 7th position. Guided by Mr. Karan Singh, they were awarded the prestigious Silver Badge Certificate.
While our young innovators excelled in technology, another proud moment came through achievement in literature. In Veer Gatha 4.0, jointly conducted by the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Education in October 2024, Miss Kavya Venugopal of std. XII Q emerged as the UT-level winner in the Essay Writing Competition for the std. XI & XII category. She was guided by Mrs. Vidya Shaj.

To celebrate the beauty and significance of the Hindi language, the UT Administration of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu organized Hindi Pakhwada from 1st to 10th September 2025. This annual programme is conducted to promote wider usage and upliftment of Hindi among students and teachers.
During the competitions held under this event, the Higher Secondary studentsโ group song team secured the First Prize,
while the teachersโ group song team also achieved the First Prize.
In Hindi Vak Pratiyogita, Mrs Shabina Khan, Assistant Teacher from the Hindi Department, was awarded the First Prize, and Mrs. Chhaya Kaushik, Assistant Teacher from the same department, received the Special Recognition.
The prize distribution took place on 18th September 2025, on the occasion of Hindi Diwas. Principals of various schools were invited as special guests, and our Principal, Mrs. Nirali Parekh, graciously attended the function.

The Directorate of Education, Samagra Shiksha, U.T. Administration of Dadra and Nagar Haveli & Daman & Diu organized Hackathon 2.0 on 8th February 2025, bringing together young innovators from across the Union Territory. Out of 211 participating teams, four teams from Lions English School showcased their talent and secured a place among the final 50 teams. Their hard work and creativity led to remarkable success in the finale, where two teams from our school emerged as winners.
Team Keyless Crew (5 members) secured prizes worth Rs. 3,000, while Team Robo Lionites (5 members) delivered an outstanding performance and won prizes worth Rs. 8,000, making the school proud. The competition also featured a Mind Games category, where Master Satyaprakash Mohanty of std VII B showcased his skills and secured the second prize worth Rs. 2,000.

Students of Lions English School have once again showcased their talent and determination in sports, bringing laurels to the school.
In the 1st ISKO All India Open Karate Championship 2024, organized by the International Shotokan Karate-Do Organisation, Master Arav Sonawane of std V A demonstrated exceptional skills. He secured 2nd prize in Kata and 3rd prize in Kumite in the under-12 category, making the school proud with his outstanding performance.
Similarly, our students excelled in the 4th Speed Skating Championship, conducted by the Great Roller Rink Academy, Vapi. Master Ashutosh Yadav of std V C achieved 2nd prize in skating under the 14 age group. Additionally, Master Mozin Shaikh of std I F secured 2nd prize in skating under the 8 age group.

Our students achieved remarkable success in the UT-level painting competition on Energy Conservation held in Daman on 27th November 2024.
Master Jyotiswarup Behera of std VIII A secured the First Prize, winning โน50,000 and a certificate. He had earlier received โน2,000 and a certificate at the school level. He will now represent the school at the National level. Miss Neha Bera of std VIII I earned a consolation prize, winning โน7,500 and a certificate at the UT level, along with โน2,000 from the school level. Both Jyotiswarup and Neha were guided by Nilesh sir.
Miss Sonakshi Singh of std VII D and Master Pavan Singh of std VII C also received consolation prizes, each winning โน7,500 at the UT level and โน2,000 at the school level. They were guided by Sanjay Chaudhary sir.

Hard work pays off, and the dedicated students of Lions English School have truly earned the rewards of their perseverance and effort.
On the 24th of June 2024, Divya Bhaskar, a renowned newspaper, hosted a grand felicitation ceremony to honour the outstanding students of Lions English School who secured more than 90% in their Board exams for the academic year 2023-24. The event took place at the Pardi Morarji Auditorium Hall in Pardi.
A total of 64 students from Lions English School were honoured during the ceremony, including 43 students from std X and 21 students fromย std XII. These students were recognized for their exemplary academic performance in their Board Examinations. Divya Bhaskar sponsored the felicitation, presenting each honoured student with a memento as a token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication.
The ceremony was graced by distinguished guests, including the Chief Guest Padma Shri Gafurbhai Bilakhia and the Guest of Honour Dr. Karanraj Singh Vaghela, IPS (SP-Valsad). The programme commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp.
